A Private Residence

The 6100 sq. ft. Amarnath Residence, a notable work from the House of HP Associates, earned laurels for the Firm, bagging it the Best Residential Architect Award at the IAD Awards (Nationals) in 2008. Our underlying design theme is minimalistic simplicity. Great emphasis has been placed on spatial design and development, further enhanced by the use of different textures, varying heights, intuitive use of light and interlocking angles and forms. Emphasis was placed on the internal spatial dynamics ensuring maximum usage of space within the house, thereby rendering a perfect, seamless blending in and blurring of the hard and fast lines between the interiors and exteriors, creating a continued flow of spaces.

The overall majestic look of the house is rendered by the perceptive use of glass and steel and the white surfaced exterior gave the building the much needed opacity and transparency.
